Join our community of support for families of children with communication disorders.
OAFCCD is a recognized voice for children with speech and language impairments and the organization does need your help to provide support to families and continue to advocate for speech & language services.
Become a Member
We invite you to join our community of parents, caregivers, and professionals who provide support for families of children with communication disorders. By becoming a member you enable OAFCCD to support families and advocate for adequate speech and language services for children in Ontario.
Why membership is important
As a non-profit organization membership funding is a significant source of revenue. Without funding, we cannot support families or advocate for speech and language services. Your support enables the organization to continue operations and provide vital support to families.
To become a member, please fill out a membership form.
Don’t forget to renew!
Renewing your membership is also important. The same form can be used to renew. Thank you to all who renew!
Responsibilities of membership
We rely on our member’s experiences to inform our position papers, organizational mission, and organizational vision. Information and stories from families and professionals provide the foundation for the work of OAFCCD. With your help we are able to describe the impact of a communication disorder and present the case for adequate speech and language services in Ontario.
Benefits of Membership
As a member you may receive
- Newsletters containing information on specific disorders, changes in publicly funded speech and language service provision, and upcoming workshops or conferences for families
- An invitation to the OAFCCD Annual General Meeting
- Contact information for OAFCCD representatives who are involved in planning or advisory organizations in their community for example, on school board Special Education Advisory Committees (SEAC)
